One's Royal Wedding obsession...

The 29th April has been highlighted on my calendar for quite some time, and I'm not afraid to admit that I am a little bit obsessed with the forthcoming Royal wedding! Party plans are being made and merchandise is being bought - it's a modern day fairy tale and I can hardly wait!

Last week, William and Kate visited my home town in Lancashire, for their last official engagement before the big day. Despite the horrid northern weather, Kate looked stunning in a shimmering navy blue Amanda Wakeley suit, with tousled hair and classic courts.

Kate looked effortlessly beautiful, and this inspired me to take a look through some of her most popular fashion picks over the last few seasons. She might not be our number one fashion icon just yet, but with THAT figure and her new found position, it's only a matter of time before the world's design elite are pouring all over Ms Middleton to wear their clothes...
Here I match up some gorgeous original vintage pieces from My Vintage with some of Kate's most classic looks...

The Fitted Red Blazer

I love how Kate teamed hers with a black patent bow belt. It's a great addition to your wardrobe, great with jeans, over an LBD or with your smartest officewear.

The Engagement Dress

The original Issa dress that Kate wore sold out within hours of the engagement being aired... A gorgeous shade of midnight blue with a flattering plunge V-neck...

This stunning 1950s vintage number is in the same rich shade and has a very similar shape. Super! Click here to buy.

The Cream Mac

Simply teamed with black tights and a dainty clutch, the cream double breasted mac will take you through the whole year and is great for both daytime and evening.

This 1980s vintage double breasted Military coat would look great with a wide range of outfits and give you that smart edge... Click here to buy.

The "Royal" Blue Dress

Teamed with a little fitted black blazer and huge rimmed hat, this jewel bright dress is gorgeous against Kate's skintone.
