Vintage Item of The Day - Military Jumpsuit

Well it may not feel like we've had much of a summer yet but pretty soon we'll be looking to stock up on gorgeous pieces for autumn and winter...

Amongst the many trends that are set to sweep us off our fashionable feet, is the military look. The braver amongst us may make like Rita Ora and go for full on camoflage but there are also subtle ways to wink at this trend. We have a bit of a thing about nice buttons anyway, but military buttons look great on all manner of clothing so keep your eyes peeled when you're shopping!

One of the biggest colours of next season will be red, and with that in mind we have discovered this amazing vintage jumpsuit. Made from a shimmering fabric, it's lightweight and easy to wear either in the daytime with boots or the the evening with killer heels. The bright red tone and gold military buttons give it a real on-trend edge and we think it's utterly fabulous!

It's approximately a UK size 12, but even if you were a little smaller like our model, it would still look great and could be gathered with a chunky belt to define your waist a bit more. And even with delivery this amazing one off vintage jumpsuit can land on your doorstep for under £50!

My Vintage - our new shop!

Well we've had lots of requests over the years and finally we are thrilled to announce that we are on the brink of opening our first ever shop!

It's been simmering away for a while as we have been getting everything ready for you to enjoy! Nestled in the heart of our home town Darwen, we are right next door to HSBC bank and have free parking behind us. If you are driving then just add BB3 1BT to the sat nav - simple!

Our grand opening and launch party is happening this Thursday the 26th July from 10am. We will have champagne and cupcakes along with some local photographers taking some snaps. We would love you to join us!

We sell a huge range in the shop for men, women, teens and the home. We have original pre-loved vintage from the 1940s to the 1990s as well as brand new vintage style and retro goods for those who prefer something box fresh! We also cater for all pockets so there really is something for everyone at My Vintage!
