It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I will try not to gush too much, but I have to say I really REALLY love Christmas!

But with SOOO many different decorations, gifts and novelties out there, it can be tricky to get things just right. Often we want something "different" but this can be tricky to find.. However, like your pantomime Fairy Godmother I have rounded up a list of all my favourite festive goodies. I have handpicked some of my favourite vintage, retro and fashion inspired pieces that are all available to order online to make things even easier...

Enjoy...

Miho Unexpected Things Stag Head (Prince Charming) - £35 - John Lewis
I love this stags head, it's seems easy to assemble and offers something dramatic and impressive that doesn't involve fairy lights or tinsel! I think it would make a great door decoration and the combination of prints is gorgeous.

Pack of 3 Glitter Birds - £2 - Matalan
I have a bit of a thing for birds, if you've been to the shop you will no doubt have seen my infamous birdcage wallpaper... So why not add some feathery funkiness to your Christmas Tree with these cute and sparkly decorations from Matalan? Love!

Retro Christmas Kitsch Charm Bracelet - £21.99 - Truffle Shuffle

Charm bracelets are cute at the best of times, but when they feature cute and kitsch Christmas charms like reindeers, stockings, stars and holly they take it to another level!

Retro Vintage Style Christmas Jumper - Unisex - My Vintage - £25
Christmas just isn't Christmas without a Christmas jumper! Here at My Vintage we have an amazing selection here... http://www.myvintage.co.uk/search/for/retro+jumper/page/1/

The red snowman jumper is one of our most popular, but we lots of other striking retro designs too and the best bit? They are all unisex so can be worn on boys or girls! Sizes range from XS - XL.

Vintage Chocolate Wrappers Bow Tie - £16.99 - Swagger & Swoon

This cute vintage chocolate print bow tie will look great with skinny jeans and a vintage blouse for your Christmas dinner or maybe even give it to dad for a less predictable stocking filler! Swagger & Swoon are awesome, they have more bow ties than you can shake a stick at and their prices are great too! Watch out on the blog for a Swagger & Swoon review coming in the next few weeks!

Vintage Christmas Biscuit Tin - £6.95 - DotComGiftShop
What better way to store all those yummy mince pies and yule logs than this gorgeous vintage style tin? Just having this on the table or in the kitchen will make me smile... It's also a lovely gift for someone - maybe fill it with goodies before wrapping it up for them?!

12 Days of Christmas - £39.95 - Lush
I must admit, I'm a bit of a Lush addict - I'd buy myself a gift from there everyday if I could! They always create amazing Christmas bundles, and their hatboxes are usually my favourite. I am also usually lucky enough to receive one from my lovely man every year (he's good!) This year Lush have brought back one of the most popular gifts from last Christmas - the 12 Days of Christmas. A gorgeous hatbox filled with 12 amazing products that make you want to lock yourself in the bathroom until Boxing Day! Whether it's for yourself or someone special, you'd find it hard to beat this...

I hope you enjoyed my little Christmas journey. I am sure you'll agree that there are some great unusual pieces that can make Christmas a little bit more original without breaking the bank...

And if that means more pennies for chocolates then that's got to be a good thing hasn't it??
